As a result of federal legislation, we’ve further strengthened our privacy commitment by informing you of why and how we collect, use and disclose your personal information. M. Edward Powell Insurance Brokers Ltd. CASL Policy

Canada’s New Anti-Spam Legislation came into force on July 1, 2014. This legislation regulates the distribution of Commercial Electronic Messages. The legislation was introduced to try and reduce the sending of unsolicited e-mails.

M. Edward Powell Insurance Brokers Ltd. has always had a policy not to send out unsolicited emails. Emails have only been sent when a prospect or client has provided us with an email address to send them correspondence.

However, due to this new legislation M. Edward Powell Insurance Brokers Ltd. will now require consent to send an email. The legislation also requires that we provide a mechanism to allow you to UNSUBSCRIBE from receiving emails. This mechanism can be found in our emails as well as on our Contact Us page on this website.
